Welcome to our SEPLSO staff blog!

This blog is viewable by anyone — but if you want to post a new item or comment on an existing one, you’ll have to register.  Here’s how to do it:

• Click “Log in” at upper right.
• If you don’t already have a WordPress username, click the “Get a free WordPress account” link at the bottom of the log-in screen.
• Choose a username (it must be at least 4 characters, letters and numbers only, no spaces). 
• Fill in the required information and select the “Just a username” option (unless you want to start your own blog as well). 
• Email wilkinson @ sepl.lib.ok.us (remove the spaces) with the email address you registered under. You’ll be added as a contributor very shortly (if it’s a workday!)
• Add http://seplsosays.wordpress.com as a bookmark.  It’s the easiest way to get back in later. 

You can then change the name you use for your posts and comments:

• Log in to WordPress and go to My Profile.
• Enter a new Nickname
• Click “Update Profile”
• Now look at the “Display name publicly as:” and choose the new name
• Click “Update Profile”

Also on your My Profile page, you can add a picture or “avatar” to represent you in posts and on the home page.

Changes to your display name or avatar may take an hour or longer to show up on the blog, so don’t worry that they didn’t “take”!

When posting to the blog, log in first and enter your name and email when prompted, so you aren’t filtered out as “spam”.
